-We finally arrived in Hoi An around 2pm and checked into our
hostel. We grabbed lunch nearby, finally showered in a decent shower (it had
been four days) and then skyped with my family.
While relaxing in the room our friends from Sapa came and
knocked. Turned out they were staying in the same hotel which was nice.
-Before dinner Marco and I walked around to check out Yaly
Tailors, the biggest tailor shop in the town (they have three different
stores). Marco’s planning on buying lots of suits in Hoi An so we wanted to get
a feel for the different stores. We then headed to Café 43, a restaurant
Marco’s friend Eric had recommended. It was really delicious! Jay and Katie met
up with us there for some drinks and we booked a cooking class for the next
day. They decided to go to another bar after but Marco and I were too exhausted
and ended up just crashing.
