Guangzhou- What A Night

-We arrived at the Guangzhou Airport planning to spend the night in the airport. After receiving many comments on our pointy Vietnam hats, we found the domestic transfer desk. They informed us that we got to stay in a hotel for free!

-We followed the guy at the desk to a bus. We actually walked back and forth a few times, he seemed confused about the location of the bus. On the bus was a huge tour of Chinese people. They looked at us like "What on earth are you doing here?" We looked at each other and were like, "What on earth are we doing here?"

-Man across the aisle waves to us. We try and speak some Mandarin to him. It works pretty well! He gets our names, age, chinese names, and nationality. We even gave him a Chinese name, I thought Kevin suited him very well.

-At the hotel finally get to our hotel room. The main light didn't work, but oh well. Oh and don't worry it came fully equipped with gas masks.

- Wake up at 5:00 am, only to find out the bus leaves at 6:00am, not 5:30am. So we are sent back to our room.

-Finally get on the bus and get to the airport. The hotel had given us a breakfast which we ate on the ground. It was a traditional Chinese breakfast, needless to say, we just ate the egg.

-Finally boarded the airplane and flew to Beijing!
